More players than ever! Many thanks to those that have attended so far this year! As can be seen from the league tables, there are many more people coming along on the league days, joining in, and having Fun! If you would like to be part of the action, play a little pinball, and join the crowd, Speak to the Local area organiser, who will be abke to advise you on the next meetings (or have a look at the League calendar which will advise you where, and then you can contact the organiser!! Well that time has come round again - only a month or two after the end of the 2006/7 season, it's time for the 2008 season!!! Firstly, welcome to the New Scottish guys, who after a lot of sweat and hard work by John and the guys there, there were 16 people at the first ever meet! Congrats to Derek Penn and Scott Nesbitt for leading that group currently, although it's all very close! The South West guys have also kicked off their season, where it seems that some have been practicing during the off season, and is currently being headed up by Peter Blakemore and Ian Thurston... Finally the South East where Order seems to have been restored and Ivan and Sean are heading up the group... However, there's lots of the season left, and plenty of time to catch those who got a head start!! Paul |

Hi fellow pinball enthusiasts! Season 1 of the UK pinball league was a lot of fun and the 2nd season is almost ready to go. The search for the top players of 2008 starts November 2007. I ought to explain for those who are new to the league that there will be a series on regional competitions around the UK. Last year we had 105 participants playing in the Midlands, The South East, South West and Northern regions and this year we hope to have two additional leagues in Scotland and the Canterbury/Margate areas. A grand final will be arranged later in 2008 for the top finishers. For a mere £2 you will be able to meet up with pinball enthusiasts and try out games set on free play. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon or evening. Contact your regional coordinator and watch the interactive calendar on the UK Pinball league website www.pinballleague.co.uk . Also watch for posts on the yahoo UK Pinball group for details and meeting dates. Note: WPPR points may be available subject to player numbers. If you’re interested I recommend that you come along and see for yourself.
Your Local Pinball league needs you!
